There’s no single path to growth at TravisMathew. Adam H. moved from retail into Outside Sales, while Rachel W. joined corporate after graduation and advanced into Senior Manager. In this story, they reflect on the opportunities that shaped their careers, the relationships that accelerated their development, and what it takes to grow by staying curious and taking ownership.

Working at TravisMathew Corporate means stepping into a fast-moving, collaborative environment where people learn quickly and are trusted to make an impact from the start.
Growth here doesn't follow a straight line. It follows the spark you bring to the work and the willingness to raise your hand when something sparks your interest.
Adam H. and Rachel W. arrived at TravisMathew from completely different paths.
Adam started on the retail floor and eventually found his way into Outside Sales.
Rachel joined as a Merchandising Coordinator and grew into a Senior Manager role.
But they both experienced the same thing along the way: a culture that notices potential early, encourages ownership, and creates space for people to build meaningful careers.
Their stories show what corporate growth at TravisMathew really looks like.

Adam's story starts before he ever worked at TravisMathew. Even as a customer walking into a store, something felt different. The team greeted him warmly and delivered an exceptional customer experience. He left thinking, “I didn't feel like just a customer. I felt like a guest in someone's home.”
When he eventually joined the retail team, he found that the way employees supported customers was the same way they supported each other. Within his first two weeks, TravisMathew’s CEO, Ryan Ellis, walked into the store, called Adam by name, and said he'd heard Adam was doing a great job. "That completely solidified the change I made," Adam says.
His strengths showed up early on the retail floor, where he quickly found what came naturally to him. He loved connecting with people, understanding what customers needed, and representing the brand. Those instincts didn't go unnoticed. Leaders saw the experiences he created for customers and encouraged him to stretch beyond the retail floor.
As Adam grew, so did his visibility. Cross-functional teams began reaching out. He became a bridge between retail and other parts of the business. When an opportunity in Outside Sales opened up, Adam was a natural fit.
Today, Adam works with accounts, partners, and internal teams to represent the TravisMathew brand. His days are full of collaboration across retail, marketing, product, and operations teams. What grounds him is the support system he built along the way - and the confidence he gained from being trusted early.

Rachel joined TravisMathew just two months after graduating from college. While new to the golf category, she brought strong enthusiasm for the brand and an eagerness to learn. Merchandising felt like the right place to start - even if she didn’t yet know exactly what it would look like.
Rachel hit the ground running, thanks to the team's collaborative culture. She learned quickly by sitting with designers, product developers and materials experts, asking questions and picking up new skills as she went. People across the product org made space for her to learn, and that support helped her contribute early.
As she grew more confident, the strengths that made her stand out became clear. She developed an eye for how stories come together, how seasonal lines take shape and how product decisions ripple across the business. Leaders noticed and encouraged her to share her perspective.

A turning point came when she began taking ownership of pieces of the process - organizing information, improving handoffs and helping teams stay aligned as the business grew. When she raised her hand to take on more, leaders backed her, giving her the trust and space to shape how merchandising operated.
Today, as a Senior Manager, Rachel oversees men’s inline products from concept to creation. She collaborates daily with design, development, marketing and sales. What she loves most is that every item is a true team effort - and that there’s always something new to learn.
“I never think I’m done learning,” she says. “There’s always more to understand.”

Although Adam and Rachel came to TravisMathew from different worlds, their stories share the same throughline.
Both were seen early. They didn't have to fight for visibility or wait years for someone to notice their potential. Leaders were paying attention from day one.
Both were trusted. They were given responsibility before they had the title, space to try things, and support when they needed help. That combination created confidence.
Both learned through collaboration. Whether on the retail floor, in showrooms, or in product meetings, their growth came from working closely with people a few steps ahead of them who cared about doing things well.
And both discovered that careers at TravisMathew rarely unfold in straight lines. They expand, shift, and evolve in ways shaped by initiative, curiosity, and the willingness to raise your hand.

Corporate careers at TravisMathew don’t always move in straight lines. They grow through curiosity, collaboration, and the courage to raise your hand when something sparks your interest.
